Arrival in Islamabad
Welcome to Pakistan. Upon your arrival at Islamabad International Airport, usually in the afternoon, our representative will meet you and provide a transfer to your hotel. Drive to Chilas via Karakoram Highway
Today we begin our journey north, driving along the legendary Karakoram Highway. The route takes us through the towns and villages of Abbottabad, Mansehra, Besham, Dasu, and Sazin before arriving in Chilas for the night. Altitude: 1,265m. Accommodation: Hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Drive to Tatu and Hike to Fairy Meadows
After breakfast, we head toward the Raikot Bridge where we transfer to 4x4 jeeps for an adventurous drive to Tatu village. From Tatu, we begin a 2-3 hour hike to reach the iconic Fairy Meadows. Once there, you can relax, explore the meadows, or enjoy the hospitality of the local community. Altitude: 3,300m. Accommodation: Camp. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Trek to Beyal Camp
We continue our trek a few kilometers further to Beyal Camp. This site offers a quieter atmosphere and even more intimate views of the surrounding peaks. The trail gradually transitions from lush alpine forests into a more rugged, impressive landscape characterized by ice blocks and snow. Altitude: 3,500m. Accommodation: Dome Tent (Twin-sharing). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Nanga Parbat Base Camp Trek
A hike of several hours brings us to the Nanga Parbat Base Camp. Here, the silence of the high mountains is only broken by the distant thunder of occasional avalanches. We will spend the night at the foot of the 'Himalayan Beast' (8,126m), surrounded by some of the most dramatic mountain scenery on earth. Altitude: 3,850m. Accommodation: Dome Tent (Twin-sharing). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Return to Fairy Meadows
We retrace our steps back to Fairy Meadows. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. It is an ideal time for photography, sketching, or simply watching the play of light on Nanga Parbat during sunset and moonrise. Altitude: 3,300m. Accommodation: Camp. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Return to Islamabad via Naran or Besham
We depart Fairy Meadows and begin our return journey. Depending on weather and road conditions, we will aim to travel via the scenic Naran road and Babusar Pass, allowing for further exploration. Alternatively, we will return via the Karakoram Highway through Besham and the Indus River valley. Accommodation: Hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Sightseeing in Islamabad and Rawalpindi
Enjoy a day exploring the distinct personalities of the twin cities. Islamabad offers modern architecture and wide boulevards perfect for sightseeing, while the historic city of Rawalpindi features bustling British-era streets and intricate traditional bazaars. Accommodation: Hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Final Departure
Our staff will coordinate your transfer to the airport in time for your return flight home. Standard hotel check-out is 12:00 PM. We hope you leave with unforgettable memories of the killer mountain. Meals: Breakfast.
