Overview
This challenging trek begins from Askole and follows the Baltoro Glacier to K2 Base Camp before crossing the technical Gondogoro La Pass (5,128m) into the Hushe Valley. The route offers breathtaking views of the world’s greatest mountains, including K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I–IV, Masherbrum, Laila Peak, and the Trango Towers, along with vast glaciers such as Baltoro and Trango. It is regarded as one of the finest mountain treks in the world and is suitable for experienced trekkers with good fitness and prior high-altitude experience.

Drive to Askoli
An overland journey from Skardu to Askoli, the final roadhead before the trek begins. Altitude: 3,000m. Accommodation: Camping.
Trek to Jhola
Commencement of the trek, walking from Askoli to the Jhola campsite. Altitude: 3,200m. Accommodation: Camping.
Trek to Paju
Continuing the trek from Jhola toward the Paju campsite, offering views of the Karakoram giants. Altitude: 3,450m. Accommodation: Camping.
Rest and Acclimatization at Paju
A scheduled rest day at Paju for altitude adjustment, including an optional acclimatization walk toward Paju Peak (3,800m). Altitude: 3,450m. Accommodation: Camping.
Trek to Urdukas
A trekking leg from Paju to Urdukas, established on the lateral moraine with stunning vistas. Altitude: 3,930m. Accommodation: Camping.
Trek to Goro II

Trek to Concordia

Trek to Ali Camp

Reserve Day
A contingency day reserved at Ali Camp in case of inclement weather or route conditions. Altitude: 5,010m. Accommodation: Camping.
Gondogoro La Crossing to Khuspang
An early start to cross the Gondogoro La (5,585m) before descending into the Hushe Valley to reach Khuspang. Altitude: 4,600m. Accommodation: Camping.
Trek to Laila Peak and Shaircho
Trekking from Khuspang, passing the iconic spire of Laila Peak, to reach the campsite at Shaircho. Altitude: 3,400m. Accommodation: Camping.
Return to Hushe and Kanday
A final 4-hour trek to Hushe village followed by a jeep drive to Kanday village. Altitude: 2,900m. Accommodation: Camping.
Return to Skardu
Drive from Kanday via Khaplu back to Skardu for an official debriefing at the Ministry of Tourism. Altitude: 2,400m. Accommodation: Hotel.
Return Travel to Islamabad
Transfer to Skardu airport for flight PK 452. If the flight is cancelled, the journey proceeds via a drive to Chilas. Altitude: 1,265m. Accommodation: Hotel.
Islamabad Sightseeing or Transit
A day for sightseeing at Margalla Hills or completing the road journey from Chilas to Islamabad. Altitude: 512m. Accommodation: Hotel.
Final Departure
Transfer for your international flight home. End of expedition services. Transport: Fly out.
