Arrival in Islamabad
Welcome to Pakistan. Upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. The day includes completing official procedures, attending a welcome reception, and resting. Altitude: 500m. Accommodation: Hotel.
Travel to Skardu or Chilas
A 45-minute domestic flight to Skardu (PK-451). Flights are subject to weather conditions. In the event of a cancellation, the journey proceeds via a 13-14 hour (480 km) coach drive to Chilas along the Karakoram Highway. Altitude: 500m to 1,200m. Accommodation: Hotel.
Transit to Skardu and Official Briefing
For those who flew, this is a free day in Skardu. If driving, you will complete the remaining 10-11 hour (275 km) journey from Chilas, offering views of Nanga Parbat (8,125m) and the Indus River rapids. The day concludes with official procedures and a welcome briefing at the Ministry of Tourism in Skardu. Altitude: 1,200m to 2,300m. Accommodation: Hotel.
Approach and Khosar Gang Climbing Period
Depart Skardu by road for Shigar's Sildi village to begin the trek. This week is dedicated to establishing camps, acclimatization, and the climbing phase of Khosar Gang Peak. Accommodation: Camp.
Return to Skardu
Conclude the expedition in the mountains and drive back to Skardu town for rest and recovery. Accommodation: Camp.
Travel to Islamabad or Chilas
Return flight to Islamabad via PK-451 (weather dependent). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. In case of flight cancellation, the team will drive to Chilas for an overnight stay. Accommodation: Hotel.
Leisure Day in Islamabad
A day at leisure in the capital. For those traveling by road, this day is used to complete the journey from Chilas to Islamabad. Accommodation: Hotel.
International Departure
Transfer to Islamabad International Airport for your return flight home. Transport: On board.
