Overview
This iconic trek takes adventurers deep into the heart of the Karakoram Range, following the Baltoro Glacier to Concordia—often called the ‘Throne Room of the Mountain Gods.’ From this spectacular natural amphitheater, trekkers enjoy breathtaking views of four 8,000m peaks: K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I, and Gasherbrum II. Surrounded by towering granite spires, vast glaciers, and some of the wildest landscapes on Earth, the trek to K2 Base Camp and Concordia is considered one of the finest mountain trekking experiences in the world.

Travel to Skardu or Chilas

Drive to Askoli
A 6-7 hour jeep journey from Skardu to Askoli. Altitude: 3,000m. Meals and overnight stay provided in tents. Accommodation: Camp.
Trek to Jhola
Commencement of the trek from Askoli to the Jhola campsite. Altitude: 3,200m. Meals and overnight stay provided in tents. Accommodation: Camp.
Trek to Paiyu
A 6-7 hour trek through the valley to reach Paiyu. Altitude: 3,450m. Meals and overnight stay provided in tents. Accommodation: Camp.
Rest and Exploration
A free day at Paiju for rest, acclimatization, and local exploration. Accommodation: Camp.
Trek to Khoburtse
A 4-5 hour trek as the route moves onto the lateral moraine. Altitude: 3,566m. Meals and overnight stay provided in tents. Accommodation: Camp.
Trek to Urdukas
A 3-4 hour trek to the Urdukas campsite, situated high above the glacier. Altitude: 4,050m. Meals and overnight stay provided in tents. Accommodation: Camp.
Trek to Goro-II
A 5-6 hour trek across the glacier to reach Goro-II. Altitude: 4,380m. Meals and overnight stay provided in tents. Accommodation: Camp.
Trek to Concordia
A 4-5 hour trek to the legendary glacial junction of Concordia. Altitude: 4,650m. Meals and overnight stay provided in tents. Accommodation: Camp.
Excursion to K2 Base Camp
A day trek from Concordia to K2 Base Camp (5,135m) and return to Concordia. Altitude: 5,135m / 4,650m. Accommodation: Camp.
Rest and Photography
A free day at Concordia dedicated to photography, rest, or further local exploration. Accommodation: Camp.
Return Trek to Goro-II
Beginning the descent by trekking back to Goro-II. Altitude: 4,380m. Overnight stay in tents. Accommodation: Camp.
Descent to Urdukas
Continue the return journey by trekking down to Urdukas. Altitude: 4,050m. Overnight stay in tents. Accommodation: Camp.
Descent to Paiyu
Trek down the moraine to reach the campsite at Paiyu. Altitude: 3,450m. Overnight stay in tents. Accommodation: Camp.
Return to Jhola

Final Trek to Askoli

Final Departure
