Day 1

Arrival in Islamabad

Welcome to Pakistan. Upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the group hotel. The day includes an official expedition briefing at the Ministry of Tourism to finalize permits and administrative details. Accommodation: Hotel.

Day 2

Flight to Skardu or Drive to Chilas

We transfer to the airport for the flight to Skardu, the gateway to the Karakoram. If weather conditions prevent flying, we will begin the drive along the Karakoram Highway to Chilas for an overnight stay. Accommodation: Hotel.

Day 3

Drive to Khaplu

We continue our journey toward the historic town of Khaplu. The drive follows the scenic Indus and Shyok rivers, leading us into the heart of the Ghanche District. Accommodation: Hotel.

Day 4

Drive to Machulo

Today's journey takes us to the village of Machulo. This leg of the trip offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks and an opportunity to experience the traditional culture of the Balti people. Accommodation: Hotel.

Day 5

Drive to Hushe and Trek to Shaicho

We drive to Hushe, the final road-head, and immediately begin our trekking phase. A few hours of walking brings us to the beautiful campsite of Shaicho, situated at the junction of the Charakusa and Gondogoro valleys. Accommodation: Camp.

Day 6

Trek to K6 and K7 Base Camp

We trek deeper into the Charakusa Valley toward the K6 Base Camp. This trek reveals an amphitheater of granite spires and spectacular glacial scenery as we establish our staging area. Accommodation: Camp.

Day 7

K6 Climbing Days

A dedicated twenty-day window is reserved for the technical ascent of K6 Peak. This period allows for acclimatization, route fixing, and the final summit push with full logistical support from our base camp team. Accommodation: Camp.

Day 8

Return Trek to Hushe

Following the conclusion of the climbing period, we descend from the base camp and trek back through Shaicho to return to Hushe village. Accommodation: Camp.

Day 9

Drive Back to Skardu

We rejoin our vehicles for the return drive to Skardu. This evening provides a return to hotel comforts and an opportunity to celebrate the expedition's progress. Accommodation: Hotel.

Day 10

Return Flight to Islamabad or Drive to Chilas

We transfer for the flight to Islamabad. In the event of a flight cancellation, we will begin the return journey by road, staying overnight in Chilas. Accommodation: Hotel.

Day 11

Free Day in Islamabad

A flexible day in the capital city for rest, sightseeing, or shopping. For those traveling by road, this day ensures arrival in Islamabad in case of delays. Accommodation: Hotel.

Day 12

International Departure

We provide a final transfer to Islamabad International Airport for your flight back home, marking the conclusion of the K6 Peak Expedition. End of services.
