Starting from the traditional village of Barah near Skardu, this multi-day trek ascends through a dramatic gorge into the beautiful Barah Broq valley. The route leads to high alpine pastures at around 4,300m, where two pristine alpine lakes sit beneath towering peaks. An optional day hike to Moses Peak (5,350m) rewards trekkers with breathtaking panoramic views of K2, Nanga Parbat, and the Gasherbrum range. Travel to Skardu or Chilas
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Skardu. In the event of a flight cancellation, the journey will proceed via an overland drive on the Karakoram Highway (KKH) to Chilas. Altitude: 1,200m. Accommodation: Hotel.
Skardu Sightseeing or Transit
A day dedicated to exploring the local sights of Skardu. For those traveling by road, this day involves completing the journey from Chilas to Skardu via the KKH. Altitude: 2,400m. Accommodation: Hotel.
Drive to Barah Valley
Departure from Skardu for a scenic drive to the Barah Valley, the gateway to your trekking adventure. Altitude: 2,500m. Accommodation: Hotel.
Trek to Summer Pastures
Commencement of the trekking phase, ascending through the valley to reach the high-altitude Summer Pastures. Altitude: 3,150m. Accommodation: Camp.
Trek to Blue Lake
Continuing the ascent toward the stunning Blue Lake, a highlights of the Barah Broq region. Altitude: 4,150m. Accommodation: Camp.
Ascent of Moses Peak
The summit day involves climbing Moses Peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding Karakoram giants. Altitude: 5,150m. Accommodation: Camp.
Descent to Summer Pastures
Begin the return journey by trekking back down from the high camps to the Summer Pastures. Altitude: 3,150m. Accommodation: Camp.
Return to Barah Valley and Skardu

Return to Islamabad
